In October 2018, 123 Penzance Road in Woods Hole sold for $10 million, marking Falmouth’s highest residential sale in more than five years at the time. Set on Penzance Point, the waterfront property featured a six-bedroom shingle-style main residence, a separate two-bedroom beach house, approximately 400 feet of private beach, and a deep-water dock on Great Harbor.

Today, the sale remains a notable milestone in the evolution of Falmouth and Cape Cod’s luxury waterfront market.

Homes Along the Shining Sea Bikeway

Construction began over 40 years ago on a piece of property owned by a now-bankrupt railroad company. Today, that small purchase has grown to a 10.7 mile rail trail stretching from North Falmouth to Woods Hole.
