Re-Opening Cape Cod: Summer 2021

With Memorial Day – the unofficial start to summer on Cape Cod – just over a week away, many are looking ahead to the upcoming season with anticipation. Unlike 2020, this year will see the return of many perennial Cape favorites. While crowds may still be smaller, all Cape Codders look forward to welcoming visitors back for what promises to be a great season.

Returning to the diamond in 2021 is the Cape League! The slightly shorter season (40 games versus 44) will hardly be noticeable when the teams take the field for the first time on June 12. The full schedule can be found here.

Provincetown events

Known for it’s vibrant events and themed weekends, Provincetown is excited to be bringing back many of the events that visitors look forward to. While many will be scaled down, the excitement is still sky high. Information can be found on their website for Pride Weekend, Portuguese Festival, Family Week and Carnival.

Cape Cod Melody Tent

There’s a fair in the air! Anyone whose been to Cape Cod knows that famous jingle means it’s time to head to the Barnstable County Fairgrounds for the best rides, games, food, local artisans and entertainment! As of late March, they have announced tentative plans to bring back the fair for 2021!
