October Events from City, to Country, to Coast

With leaves falling, it’s finally starting to look like autumn and, with a holiday weekend ahead, it’s time to look at the great events we’ve selected for October’s calendar – packed with festive, cultural and spooky happenings. Enjoy these October events!

October 8 – Yarmouth Seaside Festival | YarmouthOctober events

The 40th Yarmouth Seaside Festival takes place over Columbus Day weekend. Bring the family to enjoy the craft fair, parade, fireworks, sand sculpture contest, bonfire, seaside road race and more.

October 14 – Powisset Farm Harvest Fest | DoverOctober events

Powisset’s Harvest Fest launches the fall season provides a great day of activity for families and friends! Enjoy live music, food and beverages, animals, demonstrations, a gorgeous farm stand, children’s attractions, contests, a Vendor Village and activities for all ages.

October 21 – Not So Spooky Halloween | CarverOctober events

Edaville’s annual “Not So Spooky Halloween,” children’s trick or treating event encourages guests to dress up in their favorite costumes and head on over to the park for a full day of kid-friendly, parent approved, trick or treating at every ride!

October 29 – Doggone Halloween Costume Parade | BostonOctober events

The Downtown Boston’s Annual Doggone Halloween Costume Parade is an incredible event in Downtown Crossing that features dozens of dogs (and some of their humans) in Halloween costumes! Every dog will receive a prize and there are four grand prizes! It’s free to participate.
