This Antique brick home in Sandwich includes five bedrooms, a backyard oasis and a unique centuries-old story.
History in Sandwich
The oldest town on Cape Cod is also home to some of the most unique and historic homes. Built around 1815, 100 Tupper Road is the only Antique brick residence in Sandwich. The home was constructed for Simeon Leonard, a partner in the Sandwich brickyards with David Benson, with bricks from his company. The same brickyard supplied all of the bricks of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Factory. The Sandwich Glass Museum now contains many pieces from the company.
Picturesque, Convenient Setting
This home provides ample space for relaxation and entertaining. The backyard oasis has been used for events of up to 70 people. When you want to head out for a stroll, head to the Daniel Webster Inn or Belfry Inn for a delicious meal. Stop in at the Sandwich Public Library or one of the many local shops and galleries downtown. Turn in the opposite direction and take a stroll to the Sandwich Marina, Boardwalk, Cape Cod Canal or Town Neck Beach.
