The holiday season is here with so many festive and fun things to do. Below are just a few of the events in this month’s calendar to enjoy on your own or share with family and friends. 

December 12 – Holiday Cookie Creations | Dover

In this children’s cooking class, participants will use their creativity to bake and decorate holiday cookies for family, friends, or simply to munch on the way home from the farm! Children are encouraged to bring their own favorite cookie cutters, or they may use ours. Here’s what’s especially sweet – each child will go home with cookies to share!

December 14 – Gardens Aglow | Sandwich

Heritage Museum and Gardens’ expansive gardens will be aglow with beautiful light displays, extensive indoor holiday décor and numerous activities around the grounds and galleries. This year visitors can expect expanded lighting displays and outdoor interactives, along with all of your favorites from previous years!

December 19 – Christmas Celtic Sojourn | New Bedford

A Christmas Celtic Sojourn reflects the compelling and diverse offerings of the weekly national radio program plus the excitement of a live show featuring the Celtic world’s best performers.

December 24 – The Nutcracker | Boston

Boston Ballet’s holiday classic The Nutcracker returns to the Boston Opera House stage this winter. Follow Clara as she embarks on a magical journey filled with colorful characters, breathtaking costumes, and majestic scenery.
