August 1 | Taps and Tapas

Celebrate National IPA day at Casa Cana with featured beers, games on the patio and more!

August 15-August 24 | Carnival Week

Provincetown Carnival 2019 is a weeklong celebration of LGBTQ life–parties, art fairs, a costume ball, and more–and culminates in the Carnival Parade on Thursday, 8/22/19. While the year-round population of Provincetown tops out at 3,000 people, the Carnival Parade attracts nearly 90,000 visitors annually.

August 26 | The Nemasket Group Golf Tournament

Head to the scenic Bay Club in Mattapoisett for the annual tournament to benefit The Nemasket Group. The tournament is held in memory of Louis Nisenbaum, the founding Executive Director of the organization.

August 31 | Cornbread Festival

Enjoy a piece of fresh baked cornbread topped with raspberry butter – delicious! Then buy some cornmeal so that you can bake more when you get home. This will be the last day of their summer mill and museum schedule.
