Art Week MA begins today! In the last few weeks we took you on a tour of Cape Cod and the South Coast and showcased some great events planned in conjunction with this fun festival. Today we look at the Greater Boston area! Check out some of these fun events throughout the next week!

Art Week MA is an annual award-winning innovative festival featuring hundreds of hands-on, interactive & creative experiences across the state. Launched in 2013, the Boch Center announced in 2017 that Art Week was expanding statewide. This year, Art Week runs from April 27-May 6

Special for ArtWeek, the South Shore Art Center launches a new interactive outdoor installation, titled “Under Great Grandmother’s Trees,” to be created by our community of artists, faculty, students and the greater community of neighbors and passersbys.

The History of Opera in Boston is as rich and dramatic as the art form itself! Discover the many ways our fair city has been deeply influenced by opera across the centuries

Chalk on the Walk | Harvard Square, Cambridge | May 6th

The Cambridge Rotary Club is putting on a Chalk on the Walk event where artists are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild. Artists may begin their work anytime after 10am and are judged at 3pm. Cash prizes are awarded! Robert Paul’s Louise Olson is a member of the Cambridge Rotary Club. They are in need of more artists and sponsors for those interested in participating.
