#1 Margaret’s Restaurant Margaret's

First up is Margaret’s, on Main Street in Fairhaven. Tucked away in a quiet wooden-shingle house, Margaret’s offers a delicious breakfast. Agent Cassy West recommends the maple almond French toast or their Crème Brûlée French toast which she calls “out of this world.” Agent Cecile Callahan loves the Norwegian pancakes with lingonberries.

#2 Flour Girls Baking Co.Flour Girls

In the Rope Walk Plaza (just a ten minute drive from our Marion office) is the always-delicious Flour Girls Baking Co. Featuring espresso bar and a wide assortment of pastries and treats, they offer something for everyone. Agent Ruth Olson especially loves the West Coast Sandwich- spinach, tomato, egg, avocado and cheddar cheese on an English muffin. For a lighter alternative, Cecile Callahan recommends the Green Monster smoothie- almond milk, almond butter, flax seed, banana and spinach.

#3 Uncle Jon’s Coffee & Café Uncle Jon's Coffee and Cafe

Agent Cecile Callahan notes that the South Coast is well known for local coffee houses. If you’re in the mood for caffeine for breakfast, one such place is Uncle Jon’s Coffee & Café with locations in Marion and Mattapoisett. Read the paper while enjoying your coffee or grab something to-go as you begin your day. The Marion location also includes breakfast sandwiches, salads, soups, quiche and more.

#4 Riverside Café Riverside cafe

The Riverside Café in Wareham serves delicious breakfast every day of the week. Stop in for monkey bread French toast, homemade hash or an omelette. With specials and a coffee of the month, you can always try something new and exciting. Opened three years ago, by a local Plymouth resident, the restaurant is named for the Agawam River, which runs behind it.
