Washburn Island | Waquoit, Falmouth

For those looking for added privacy and a waterfront location, Washburn Island is one of the last large undeveloped coastal properties on Cape Cod and a jewel within the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. The island has ten campsites that are available for rent from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Reservations must be made in advance.

Shawme-Crowell State Forest | Sandwich

This 700-acre  forest and offers more than 15 miles of trails for camping, hiking and horseback riding. Shawme-Crowell offers over 285 camping sites and features basketball courts, playground, a pavilion and nature center. Camping season is mid-April through mid-October and reservations can be made online.
