Cambridge Jazz Festival

The 3rd annual Cambridge Jazz Festival is this Sunday, July 31st from noon to 6 p.m. As ardent supporters of the music scene in Cambridge and Somerville, we are sponsoring this event and invite you to join us for good food, good friends, and most importantly great jazz music at Danehy Park in Cambridge. There are plenty of free open-seating tickets available, so be sure to get your tickets online. (There are also some limited paid seating tickets for $20.)

Cambridge Jazz Festival

Legendary saxophonist Walter Beasley headlines this year’s Cambridge Jazz Festival. Other 2016 performers are jazz guitarist Russell Malone, saxophonist Bill Pierce, the Ron Savage Trio, singer/songwriter Nadia Washington, and the Rebecca Cline Trio. The festival’s mission is “to entertain, and inform people about the uniquely American art of jazz through exceptional live performances, and also to provide inspiration and scholarships for young musicians in our community.” The Cambridge Jazz Festival is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit and its proceeds help keep the festival free to the public and will also help support the Johnny Hodges’ scholarship fund, named for the late local legend who played in Duke Ellington’s Big Band. Robert Paul Properties is proud to sponsor this event.
