July 2| 38th Annual Boston Harborfest Opening Ceremony
Harborfest kicks off with an opening ceremony at Boston’s Faneuil Hall. Colonial era reenactments, a short speaking program, and the traditional cutting of the cake will help kick things off.
July 17| Hydrangea Festival
The annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival returns – see the expanded North American Hydrangea Test Garden, the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society’s superb Display Garden, participate in workshops, purchase plants, and tour Heritage’s gardens, which now include eight species of hydrangeas and over 170 exceptional cultivars.
July 25| Family Fun Night: Marshmallow Roast
Join Plimoth Plantation for their second Family Fun Night to roast marshmallows and enjoy a summer’s evening of stories on our living history sites. Suitable for children of all ages.
July 28 | International Sand Sculpting Festival
The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival has grown into one of the largest sand sculpting festivals in the country. Each year sculptors from all over the world come to compete for one of the largest grand prizes in the world. Sculptors work for four days creating masterpieces on the beach with nothing but sand and water. Every year the event features a People’s Choice competition where you get to vote for your favorite.
