The statistical analysis and data branch of National Association of Realtors has put forth data on the best exterior remodeling projects that can help increase the value of your home, so you get more money when you sell.

They found of the eight exterior remodeling projects surveyed, that four had the best overall value for sellers: #1 New roofing, #2 New garage door, #3 New vinyl siding, #4 New vinyl windows. More of the costs are expected to be recovered in the added value to the home.
