Fran Schofield Elected to Cape Cod Chamber

CAPE COD, MA (06/16/2014) – Fran Schofield, senior associate at Robert Paul Properties, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. She will be serving her first full term, through 2017.

Board Chairman Gary Sheehan presided over the meeting on June 12, 2014 that called to vote Ms. Schofield’s election, along with two other business people, which vote passed unanimously.

The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 92 years of local business leadership this year. As an independent organization, its mission is to advocate on behalf of area businesses, to strengthen and promote regional economic vitality, and to address related cultural, environmental and community concerns.

Fran Schofield brings an extensive background in land planning and real estate development to her work with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. Prior to entering real estate sales on Cape Cod, Fran served as project manager with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs Office of Coastal Zone Management; assistant director of Massachusetts’ National Trust for Historic Preservation “Main Street Program;” project manager for Dickinson Development Corporation, a Greater Boston-based commercial real estate development firm; and planner with Daylor Consulting Group, a nationally renowned engineering and land planning firm.

Since joining Robert Paul Properties, Ms. Schofield has distinguished herself as a highly creative, productive and esteemed sales agent both within the company and throughout Cape Cod.
